Linville Caverns

Caverns· Destinations· North Carolina· Outdoors & Nature· Trip Ideas· Western NC

On our trip to Blue Ridge Parkway, we visited Linville Caverns at Marion, North Carolina. The Caverns offer guided tours, giving you the history of the caverns and allowing you to view the grand work of nature. The admission fee is $7 for adults. The tour takes around 45 minutes. The caverns are wheelchair accessible. You get to view stalagmites and stalactites in the caverns as well as cute bats as you walk through narrow passages climbing numerous steps. You also get to experience the concept of total darkness.

Along with the Caverns, you can easily visit other interesting places on Blue Ridge Parkway like Linville Waterfalls. You can easily go for a Day Trip from Charlotte area.

Visit the website of Linville Caverns for further information.
