Lake Lure
Lake Lure is one of the most beautiful man made lakes in USA. It is situated in Rutherford County, North Carolina, United States. The lake was produced as a result of the construction of a dam over Broad River.
The lake is approximately 720 acres, with about 21 miles of shoreline. Surrounding the lake are million dollar houses and vacation home. 
An ideal place for Real Estate investors. 
Lake Lure Park is very beautiful and an ideal place for weddings, get together, parties and so on. There is a paid beach on one side of Lake Lure known as Lake Lure Beach. Lake Lure boat tours are organized at the Marina. Visit this site for more information on Lake Lure Boating. Lake Lure Marina offers both motorized and non-motorized boat rentals.
Nearby attractions include Chimney Rock, Biltmore Estate, Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway and so on.
We visited Lake Lure along with Chimney Rock. We drove from Charlotte as part of a Day Trip to both these places. Here are some photos from our trip.
